Sandra is a Centennial student who has Cystic Fibrosis and is preparing for a lung transplant. The surgery is covered by insurance, however after the surgery, there will be a lot of expenses such as transportation, medications, and the Mason House (near Emory) where Sandra will be recovering.
Please donate cash c/o HOSA in front office or go to Sandra’s GoFundMe to donate!
Welcome Our New Principal!
2/14/2020 9:45 am
Dear Centennial High School Families,
I am extremely excited and humbled to be selected as the new Principal of Centennial High School.
Centennial High School has a growing reputation of outstanding academic achievement and a community presence that I look forward to increasing for years to come. I eagerly await the opportunity to meet and collaborate with the students, staff, families and community stakeholders that make Centennial High School a coveted school. I will immediately begin developing a process for providing timely and frequent communication with students, staff and parents and work with the administrative team to ensure a successful transition for the remainder of the school year.
I began my career in education as a high school special education teacher in Hillsborough County Florida. After moving to Georgia, I served at Centennial High School for 9 years in multiple capacities including Assistant Principal. I went on to become principal at Camp Creek Middle school for three years and most recently served as principal of Sandy Springs Middle School.
I am committed to serving students, parents, and communities. I believe in the power of partnership, accountability, and collaboration. I am an advocate for building a positive school culture that fosters shared decision making and professional learning communities. I will be coordinating meet and greet opportunities in the very near future and I look forward to meeting all of you soon.
